Come support Easterseals and your favorite political team, as they “mix” it up as guest bartenders at the Two Stone Pub in Newark on Thursday,
September 9 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. While serving drinks each team will be competing for the most tips to see which side can raise more money for
their political volleyball team in the 15th annual Democrats vs. Republicans Volleyball Challenge. 
House Majority Leader Valerie Longhurst and Senate Majority Leader Bryan Townsend will lead the charge for tips for the Democrats, while
Rep. Michael Ramone, Rep. Michael Smith and Rep. Kevin Hensley will headline for the Republicans. Other elected officials expected (as of 8/4)
include: Sen. Sarah McBride, Rep. Kendra Johnson, Sen. Marie Pinkney, Sen. Nicole Poore, Sen. Laura Sturgeon, Sen. Bryan Townsend,
Sen. Dave Sokola, Rep. Larry Lambert, Sen. Jack Walsh, New Castle County Executive Matt Meyer and Delaware State Auditor Kathy McGuiness.

The bartending event is just a preview of the fierce competition that can be witnessed when the two political parties face-off for the 15th year at the
Easterseals/CAI Volleyball Challenge & Spiker Stroll. On Saturday, September 18 at 8:30 a.m., the two teams will take the court at the Chase
Fieldhouse in Wilmington. The Republicans are currently in the lead, 9 to 5.
